Microsoft is rolling out Microsoft Office 2010 Public Beta (Beta 2) to the world in November. As of now, only a selected few can get a taste (by invitation) of the latest Office suite through its Office 2010 Technical Preview program. Even so, there are numerous leaked versions of Microsoft Office 2010 Beta available freely for download on Internet, including the latest Office 2010 Beta 2 Build 14.0.4514.1009.

Build 14.0.4514.1009 has been leaked out even before the announcement was made, and is now available for download (See links below). Office 2010 Beta 2 Build 14.0.4514.1009 is said to be the version Microsoft will release to the public this November.

One notable changes of this latest build is the installation process. You will now need to go through product key activation process successfully before you can start the installation. You will be prompted to provide a unique product key (25-digit number) and verifying it online. Thus, this process makes the distribution of serial number is useless.
